The Colts have waived cornerback Cameron Mitchell with an injured designation after he sustained an upper-body injury during practice. Mitchell, who signed with Indianapolis after being waived by Cleveland last season, started one game and participated in eight overall, contributing 18 tackles and an interception. In his absence, the Colts signed undrafted free agent Mekhi Rodgers. Three other players missed practice, including receiver Alec Pierce, who is recovering from ankle surgery.
