Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen released from jail following arrest

Police arrested Allen early Sunday morning in Indianapolis after officers discovered him in a parked vehicle within a no-parking zone. According to police reports, authorities observed signs of intoxication, leading to misdemeanor charges for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Allen departed custody shortly before 4 p.m. and currently faces a scheduled court date on September 16. The Colts signed Allen to the roster earlier this month, and the wide receiver had just appeared in the team's final preseason game on Saturday.
