Columbus Crew loans Hugo Picard to Troyes for 2027 season

Columbus Crew has announced the loan of midfielder Hugo Picard to Ligue 1's Troyes. The loan, effective immediately, extends through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, with Troyes holding a purchase option. Picard joined Columbus last summer as a U22 Initiative signing and has made 33 appearances, scoring six goals and providing two assists. The Crew's active summer transfer window also includes outgoing players like Diego Rossi and Max Arfsten, as well as new signings such as Brais Méndez and Josef Martínez. Columbus is currently 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 5W-9L-5D record under interim head coach Laurent Courtois.
