Columbus prepares for Gay Softball World Series starting Aug. 30

Columbus will host the Gay Softball World Series from Aug. 30 to Sept. 5, featuring over 200 teams from the U.S. and Canada. The tournament, taking place at Lou Berliner Sports Park, includes both competitive play and numerous social events, such as a welcome dance and closing ceremonies at local LGBTQ+ bars. Organizers expect over 4,500 participants and additional spectators to visit the city, known for its welcoming atmosphere. Events will include a Columbus Clippers Pride Night game and various fundraising activities for local LGBTQ+ organizations.
