Commanders activate Tress Way, Dorance Armstrong, and Trey Amos

The Washington Commanders have activated punter Tress Way, defensive end Dorance Armstrong, and cornerback Trey Amos as training camp continues. Way was sidelined during camp due to a pectoral injury, while Armstrong returns from a knee injury that ended his 2025 season. Amos is coming back from a fibula fracture sustained last November. In addition, wide receiver Stefon Diggs has joined the team for the first time during training camp after signing with the Commanders on Friday.
