Commanders coach uncertain on Jayden Daniels' preseason playing status
Summary

The Washington Commanders continue training camp in Ashburn, VA. Coach Dan Quinn has yet to decide if Jayden Daniels will play in the preseason, focusing currently on quarterbacks Sam Hartman and Athan Kaliakmanis due to Marcus Mariota's absence. Daniels has received increased practice reps during joint practices with the Dolphins, as Mariota's injury opens opportunities for him and rookies Kaytron Allen and Robert Henry Jr. to step up. With Jerome Ford sidelined for the season, Quinn emphasized the need for the team's run game to improve.
