The Washington Commanders have fired tight ends coach Ben Steele just days before the start of training camp. Steele's dismissal follows his arrest on June 6 for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and related charges. The Commanders have not officially stated the reason for Steele's firing, but his recent legal troubles likely played a role. The team's first practice is scheduled for July 29.
