Commanders list Daron Payne as limited on Thursday injury report

The Washington Commanders returned to the practice field on Thursday ahead of their Week 1 game against Philadelphia. Although all players participated during the session, the team added defensive tackle Daron Payne to the official injury report. Payne was listed as a limited participant due to a knee injury but went through position drills alongside his teammates. Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw also appeared on the report with a back injury but completed a full practice. Other limited participants included edge rushers K’Lavon Chaisson and Odafe Oweh, along with running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Head coach Dan Quinn expressed optimism earlier in the week that the full roster would be available for Sunday's matchup. The team will monitor the status of those limited on Thursday during Friday's session.
