Commanders place Jerome Ford on injured reserve, make several roster moves

The Washington Commanders have placed running back Jerome Ford on injured reserve after he suffered a serious hamstring injury during Friday's preseason game against the Miami Dolphins, which the Commanders won 20-7. Along with Ford, receiver River Cracraft is also moving to IR. The team announced several roster changes, signing linebacker Krys Barnes, defensive tackle Maurice Hurst, tight end Tre’ McKitty, and running back Craig Reynolds. The Commanders have also released kicker Jake Moody and punter Matt Haack as part of this series of transactions.
