Commanders prepare for joint practice with Ravens, key players to watch

The Washington Commanders are set for a joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens on August 26, 2026, as they work to trim their roster from 90 to 53 players. Following the release of former starting safety Will Harris, the team looks to evaluate several players, including running back Robert Henry Jr., who aims for a larger role after an inconsistent preseason. Center Matt Gulbin will be tested in multiple positions, while wide receiver Antonio Williams seeks to impress alongside starters. Defensive tackle Ricky Barber Jr. and cornerback Fabian Moreau need strong performances to solidify their spots on the roster. The upcoming session serves as a critical opportunity for these athletes to showcase their skills ahead of the preseason finale on August 29.
