Commanders pull within one score against 49ers with Daniels touchdown

The Washington Commanders trail the San Francisco 49ers 23-10 with less than 15 minutes remaining in the game. Quarterback Jayden Daniels connected with Rachaad White for a nine-yard touchdown pass, narrowing the deficit to one possession. Earlier, Daniels also threw a touchdown to Stefon Diggs just before the end of the third quarter. The 49ers were forced to go three-and-out on their next possession, setting up Washington with an opportunity to take the lead for the first time.
