Commanders recover key players as Nick Allegretti returns to practice

The Washington Commanders returned to the practice field Monday following the finalization of the initial 53-man roster on Sunday. Several players sidelined by injury returned to action, including center Nick Allegretti, quarterback Mariota, tight end Ben Sinnott, and defensive tackle Daron Payne. Allegretti had missed nearly all of training camp after suffering a calf strain on the opening day, creating concern regarding the center position.
