Commanders release safety Will Harris, place LB Drake Jackson on IR

The Washington Commanders have released safety Will Harris and placed linebacker Drake Jackson on injured reserve. Harris, who started nine games for the Commanders last season and recorded 38 tackles, was let go as the team also announced the signing of linebacker Boogie Basham. Jackson, a second-round pick in 2022, played in three games for Washington. The Commanders also released Malik Spencer and signed safeties Joshuah Bledsoe and Quindell Johnson to bolster their roster.
