The Washington Commanders have signed veteran center Trey Hill to strengthen their offensive line amid injuries. Hill, a former Georgia Bulldog and sixth-round NFL draft pick, joins the team as starter Nick Allegretti deals with a calf strain that will sideline him for at least a week. Previously with the Cincinnati Bengals, Hill has played in 25 NFL games and will look to secure a spot on the Commanders' 53-man roster. His experience is expected to bring much-needed depth to a position currently lacking in seasoned players.
- •Trey Hill joins the Commanders, wearing No. 60.
- •Nick Allegretti is expected to miss at least a week due to injury.
- •Hill previously played for the Bengals and spent time with multiple teams.
