Commanders sign Craig Reynolds following injuries to running backs

The Washington Commanders have signed veteran running back Craig Reynolds amid injury concerns for their current roster. The team played without starters Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rachaad White, and Jeremy McNichols during a preseason win over the Miami Dolphins. Rookies Kaytron Allen and Robert Henry Jr. performed well, but injuries to McNichols and Reynolds prompted the signing. McNichols is expected to miss several weeks due to a quad injury, while White is sidelined with a hamstring issue, although it is not considered serious. The Commanders are looking to solidify their backfield depth ahead of the preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
