The Washington Commanders signed veteran receiver Stefon Diggs to a one-year, $12 million deal. This move comes after the receiver room was left thin following Terry McLaurin, and attempts to acquire Brandon Aiyuk fell through. Diggs, who had 1,013 receiving yards last season with the Patriots, is expected to boost the Commanders' receiving corps as Jayden Daniels seeks to improve after a challenging season. The Commanders invested significantly in their defense this offseason, leaving limited options for bolstering their offense.
