Commanders sign three veteran offensive linemen ahead of training camp

The Washington Commanders signed center Daniel Brunskill, tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, and guard Max Scharping as part of a strategy to enhance competition within their offensive line ahead of training camp. Head coach Dan Quinn emphasized that these moves were aimed at raising the competition level and were not related to injuries. The team also released receiver Chris Hilton Jr. and guard Timothy McKay, while placing defensive tackle D.J. Davidson on the reserve/retired list. This reshuffling comes as the Commanders prepare for upcoming practices, with additional updates expected on injured players Nick Allegretti and John Bates.
