The Washington Commanders are set to sign offensive lineman Max Scharping to bolster their offensive line, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz. Scharping, 29, previously spent time with the Commanders' practice squad and has played in 81 games with 33 starts across his career, including stints with the Texans, Bengals, and Steelers.
