The Commons, a new 12-hole golf course, has opened at Sand Valley resort in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Designed by Jim Craig, the course features a layout inspired by historic Scottish courses, measuring 3,417 yards with a par of 45. A kickoff event included 48 hickory golfers, led by Peter Flory. Craig emphasized the course's design intent, aiming for an enjoyable and community-centered golfing experience. The Commons will also feature a social hub called Commons Hamlet alongside a lake.
