Community honors Easton Wilsey with second annual baseball tournament

BaseballThe second Easton Wilsey Memorial Baseball Tournament takes place this weekend at Royal Field. The tournament honors Easton Wilsey, a nine-year-old who died in an accident in September 2023. Six local youth baseball teams are expected to participate, building on the success of last year's inaugural event which fostered community support and raised funds for scholarships and field improvements. Organizers John Ross Wilsey, Nate Massey, and Matt McElhoe aim to continue this annual tradition while celebrating Easton’s love for baseball. The first games commence Friday evening, with wooden bats being used during the tournament.
