Connor Arant commits to Oklahoma as top tight end prospect for 2028

Four-star tight end prospect Connor Arant from Bixby, Oklahoma, has announced his commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners. This decision adds to Oklahoma's recruiting efforts, as he chose the Sooners over offers from several prominent programs, including Ohio State and Alabama. Arant has expressed admiration for head coach Brent Venables and tight ends coach Jason Witten, citing their impact in his decision. Evaluated as the No. 315 overall prospect and No. 15 tight end nationally for the 2028 cycle, he joins quarterback Trey Tagliaferri as Oklahoma's second commitment in this recruiting class. His high school performance includes both offensive and defensive roles, contributing to his team's success with multiple touchdowns and tackles.
