LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - JULY 09: Conor McGregor reacts to the crowd during the UFC 329 press conference at T-Mobile Arena on July 09, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC) Conor McGregor was back in his element during the UFC 329 pre-fight press conference on Thursday and he even got to show off his singing voice. The former two-division champion makes his return to action after five long years away and he was asked what is going to be the bigger comeback — his fight on Saturday or Oasis reuniting for a massive worldwide tour back in 2025? “The boys are in town I believe,” McGregor answered. “The Gallaghers are in town so I like the Oasis lads. It’s good. I can’t wait to see Oasis.” Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have attended UFC events in the past so it sounds like they might even make an appearance at UFC 329 but to add a little extra motivation McGregor serenaded the fans in attendance with his own version of the band’s hit song “Wonderwall.” While McGregor likely goes down as the biggest superstar in UFC history, he might not make the list for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame but he still had a great time singing on stage. That said, McGregor gave Paddy Pimblett a little bit of grief for not rising from his seat and offering some back up vocals for the song from the legendary British band. “Paddy, where was the back up?” McGregor said with a smile. “I needed back up there!”
