Cooper basketball star Haylee Noel commits to University of South Florida

Cooper High School basketball standout Haylee Noel announced her commitment to the University of South Florida on Tuesday. A two-time Ninth Region player of the year, Noel selected the Bulls from a pool of 25 scholarship offers. Since starting on varsity in 2021, she has helped lead the Jaguars to four consecutive regional titles and state tournament appearances. She enters her upcoming senior season holding 1,685 career points and 782 career rebounds. As she prepares for her final high school campaign, she remains a candidate for the Miss Basketball award. Noel becomes the face of the program as the Jaguars transition to their third head coach in three years.
