Corey Day finished 33rd in Saturday's NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at WWT Raceway after a late-race collision with William Sawalich. With under 50 laps remaining, contact occurred during a battle for fifth place, resulting in Day spinning into the inside wall. While Day suggested he was pushed into the incident by Justin Allgaier, replays showed initial contact from Day into Sawalich’s door. Sawalich declined to comment on the incident following the race.
