Corey Heim won his first NASCAR Cup race on June 21 at the San Diego street course, taking the lead from teammate Tyler Reddick with two laps to go. Heim, 23, is currently on a part-time schedule with 23XI Racing, co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. Bubba Wallace, also from 23XI Racing, finished second, while Kyle Larson secured third after leading 11 laps late in the race. Reddick, who was passed by Heim, finished 25th due to a flat tire.
