Cornerback Kyon Loud has joined the Duke football program following two seasons at Montana. A former FCS recruit out of Junipero Serra High School in California, Loud transferred to the Blue Devils after the 2025 season to bolster the secondary. Head coach Manny Diaz integrated Loud as one of five defensive back additions, and the cornerback earned a starting role and a team captaincy during the team's 17-3 season-opening victory over Tulane. In that debut, Loud recorded two tackles and a pass breakup. He now prepares for Duke's first road game of the 2026 season against Illinois, scheduled for September 12 at Gies Memorial Stadium.
