Cotterill handed three-game ban following red card against Grimsby

Steve Cotterill, manager of Cheltenham Town, has received a three-game touchline ban from the Football Association after being sent off during their recent match against Grimsby Town, which ended in a 2-2 draw. The incident occurred at the conclusion of the game, involving a confrontation with Grimsby coach Raymond Shearwood. Alongside his ban, Cotterill has been fined £2,250. Grimsby's Shearwood has received a one-game ban and a £450 fine. Both clubs were also penalized, with Cheltenham fined £6,750 and Grimsby fined £5,500 for improper conduct. Cotterill will miss key upcoming matches, including an away game at Colchester and a home game against Chesterfield, as well as an EFL Trophy fixture against Exeter.
