Summary

The Dallas Cowboys have confirmed that Tyler Smith will start at left guard during training camp while also taking snaps at left tackle. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer emphasized the importance of keeping quarterback Dak Prescott healthy this season. Smith, a Pro Bowl selection, has excelled at left guard over the past three years after playing left tackle in his rookie season. The team has uncertainty at left tackle with Tyler Guyton, who struggled last season. The Cowboys face critical decisions regarding their offensive line as they aim for playoff success in 2026.
