Cowboys consider signing All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner this offseason

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly interested in signing free agent linebacker Bobby Wagner, who played for the Washington Commanders last season. Wagner, 35, recorded 162 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and two interceptions in the 2025-26 season. His experience could provide much-needed depth and mentorship at linebacker for Dallas, particularly as they seek to bolster their defense after a subpar previous season. With three months remaining in the offseason, the Cowboys are seen as a top contender for Wagner, especially given their ongoing need for a middle linebacker.
