Cowboys consider trade for Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks

Summary

The Dallas Cowboys are exploring a trade for Miami Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks, who is viewed as a key defensive target. Brooks had a standout 2025 season, leading the league with 183 tackles, and has emerged as a potential trade candidate as the Dolphins enter a rebuild. The Cowboys added Dee Winters but still seek another impactful linebacker due to Overshown's injury history. Acquiring Brooks, who is under contract for one more year, could bolster their defense significantly. Should Miami choose to trade him, a deal could come around the November deadline.
