Cowboys sign Denzel Mims to bolster receiver depth

The Dallas Cowboys have signed wide receiver Denzel Mims, a former second-round pick by the New York Jets, as part of their efforts to enhance their receiving corps. Mims joins a group that includes prominent players like CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy. He played the last two seasons in the UFL but struggled to produce significant numbers. Mims caught only 11 passes in 2022 and six in 2026. This signing comes as the Cowboys continue to prepare for training camp, following roster adjustments that included placing Matt Hennessy on injured reserve.
