Cowboys sign Von Miller to bolster defensive lineup

The Dallas Cowboys have signed Von Miller to enhance their defense, confirmed on August 17, 2026. Miller, a star with two Super Bowl titles and an MVP award, brings extensive experience that can benefit younger players and elevate team performance. His role is expected to complement existing pass rushers like Rashan Gary and Donovan Ezeiruaku, enabling him to contribute effectively without carrying the primary load. The signing comes after a lackluster NFL debut from rookie Malachi Lawrence, adding a seasoned mentor to the mix.
