Cowboys work out WR Romello Brinson after Parris Campbell's retirement

The Dallas Cowboys are evaluating former SMU and Miami Hurricane receiver Romello Brinson for a potential spot on their roster following Parris Campbell's retirement. Brinson, who is 6-foot-2 and weighs 188 pounds, had 92 catches for 1,393 yards and six touchdowns in college. His most productive season was at SMU with 43 catches for 638 yards. The Cowboys previously showed interest in Brinson during the offseason, including a dinner after SMU's Pro Day. He could serve as a camp addition and potentially push for a practice squad position if he performs well.
