Creighton defeats Missouri in soccer match on Sunday

The Missouri soccer team dropped its Sunday match against the Creighton Bluejays in Omaha, finishing with a 1-0 loss. Creighton scored the lone goal of the game after a Missouri turnover near midfield allowed the Bluejays to convert a one-on-one opportunity. Despite controlling the pace and recording 21 shots compared to Creighton’s 7, Missouri failed to find the back of the net. Creighton goalkeepers Kailey Hall and Morgan Paley combined for seven saves to secure the shutout for the hosts. Missouri now holds a 2-3-1 record for the season following the result. The Tigers are scheduled to return to Walton Stadium to face Southeast Missouri on Friday, September 4th.
