Crewe Alexandra signs Jordan Gibson from Doncaster Rovers

Crewe Alexandra has completed the signing of striker Jordan Gibson from Doncaster Rovers. Gibson, 28, has agreed to a three-year contract and brings to Crewe a record of 12 goals in 103 appearances from his time at Doncaster. He was part of Doncaster's successful League Two campaign in 2024-25 and contributed six goals in the previous season, which saw the team finish 14th in League One. This signing marks the beginning of a summer rebuild for Crewe following the release of eight players and looks to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season. The club has an option to extend Gibson's contract for an additional year.
