Cricket Australia puts Melbourne Renegades franchise up for private sale

Cricket Australia has confirmed the Melbourne Renegades will become the first Big Bash League franchise offered for private ownership. Other clubs including the Hobart Hurricanes, Perth Scorchers, and Melbourne Stars have been identified as potentially interested in exploring similar private investment models as the sport seeks to address its recent financial challenges.
