Cris Cyborg proposes Amanda Nunes rematch for UFC 332 main event

Cris Cyborg has formally petitioned the UFC to serve as the headline act for the upcoming UFC 332 event in Salt Lake City on October 3. The promotion is currently seeking a replacement main event after a rumored women’s flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Natalia Silva failed to materialize due to a withdrawal by Shevchenko. Cyborg posted the proposal on social media, directly addressing former opponent Amanda Nunes. The two previously competed at UFC 232 in 2018, where Nunes earned a first-round knockout. While Amanda Nunes retired from professional fighting in 2023, Cyborg recently competed at PFL Tampa in August, earning a unanimous decision victory over Ketlen Vieira. The UFC has not yet announced a headliner for the October card, leaving the status of the event's top billing uncertain.
