Cronulla Sharks Jersey Flegg player Ratu Viliame Koroitamana was stood down from the club's finals match against the Canterbury Bulldogs on Saturday. The 19-year-old was arrested Friday morning alongside 18-year-old Jimmy Schulz. Police allege Koroitamana was driving a vehicle in West Hoxton while Schulz operated a drone to conduct surveillance during a separate incident. Koroitamana faces charges of participating in a criminal group and driving on a suspended licence. He has been granted strict conditional bail and appeared in Liverpool Local Court on Friday. While Schulz faces a murder charge related to the death of Joshua MacDonald, police have not accused Koroitamana of involvement in that death. Koroitamana remains before the courts as police investigations continue.
