Crystal Palace considers fate of Pierre Sage after Brighton loss

Crystal Palace's manager Pierre Sage faces scrutiny following a 5-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on October 19, marking the club's heaviest loss to their rivals in 70 years. Despite this setback, the club is expected to retain Sage for upcoming matches against Besiktas and Newcastle United. Since his appointment this summer, Sage has recorded only two wins in seven Premier League games and his team has given up the most goals in the league. Although the situation is concerning, Palace sits 14th in the standings with seven points, and injuries have complicated Sage's defensive selections. The club's chairman, Steve Parish, may consider a managerial change if no improvement is shown in the next two fixtures.
