Crystal Palace signs forward Beth England on free transfer

Crystal Palace has signed forward Beth England on a free transfer, as announced today. The 32-year-old joins the club after leaving Tottenham Hotspur and has signed a two-year deal with an optional additional year. England, the all-time record goalscorer for Spurs in the Women’s Super League with 32 goals, has also played for several clubs including Liverpool and Chelsea. Internationally, she has represented England 26 times and was part of the team that won UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. In her first comments as a Crystal Palace player, England expressed enthusiasm about joining the club and its ambitions in women’s football.
