Crystal Palace has expressed interest in acquiring Quinten Timber, a midfielder from Marseille, according to L’Equipe. The club, following a 2-0 loss to Everton in their Premier League opener, aims to strengthen their midfield. Timber, who is 25 and played for the Netherlands in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, joined Marseille last winter for €4.5 million. He is currently contracted with Marseille until 2030 and has made 16 appearances for the club. Reports indicate that FC Porto is no longer pursuing Timber, who has a valuation under €20 million.
