Atlético-MG officials expressed concern regarding a significant loss to the team's depth, as the player has contributed seven goals and seven assists across 40 matches during the 2026 season. Negotiations between the clubs and representatives for the player remain ongoing as the transfer window in both Russia and Brazil closes next Friday. Atlético-MG is currently eighth in the Brasileirão standings while maintaining competition in the quarterfinals of the Conmebol Sudamericana and the semifinals of the Copa do Brasil.
