Cubs announce Spring Training ticket sale amid lockout uncertainty

The Chicago Cubs will put Spring Training tickets on sale on Friday, Nov. 13, with a presale for season ticket holders on Nov. 12. This shift in timing reflects concern over the impending MLB owners’ lockout beginning Dec. 1, which may impact ticket sales and game schedules. Other teams, like the Phillies, are also selling spring tickets ahead of the lockout. Additionally, weekend passes for the Cubs Convention go on sale today, despite uncertainty about player attendance if the lockout continues into January.
