Cubs recall Jayden Murray, option Gavin Hollowell to Triple-A

The Chicago Cubs have recalled right-handed pitcher Jayden Murray to the 26-man roster ahead of their matchup today. In a corresponding move, they optioned right-handed pitcher Gavin Hollowell to Triple-A Iowa. Murray was acquired from the Houston Astros on June 20 and is set to wear uniform No. 70. He has a career 4.68 ERA over 17 games in the MLB, while Hollowell made three appearances this season for the Cubs with a 4.91 ERA.
