The Chicago Cubs announced the release of left-handed pitcher Josh Fleming ahead of their three-game series against the Chicago White Sox, starting at Wrigley Field on August 17. Fleming, who previously played six years in MLB, was signed by the Cubs on July 8 after being released by the Toronto Blue Jays.
