The Chicago Cubs released renderings for the new Champions Gate, set to honor their World Series champions. Located on the Clark Street side of Gallagher Way, the gate will commemorate the Cubs’ titles in 1907, 1908, and 2016, marking the 10th anniversary of the latest win. Cubs President of Business Operations Crane Kenney highlighted that the design allows for additional tributes as future championships occur. The gate's dedication is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, as part of a weekend celebrating the 2016 championship. Construction of the gate is currently underway, visible to fans in the area.
