Cubs win in 10 innings against Cardinals behind Bregman and Happ doubles

The Chicago Cubs took a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in 10 innings on Thursday. After a tightly contested game, Alex Bregman and Ian Happ hit critical doubles to secure the win. The Cubs tied the game in the fourth and reclaimed the lead in the seventh before the Cardinals equalized in the seventh. With a placed runner in the 10th, Bregman's double brought home the go-ahead run, followed by Happ's double for insurance. Jacob Webb and Aaron Civale kept the Cardinals at bay to clinch the win for the Cubs, marking Civale's second career save.
