Cwmbran Celtic AFC partners with bands for team kits

Cwmbran Celtic AFC, a Welsh grassroots football club, announced a partnership with four notable UK bands for their 2026/27 season team kits. Super Furry Animals, Panic Shack, Mogwai, and Loose Articles will feature on the kits, with a portion of profits benefiting both the club and grassroots music venues. The initiative aims to strengthen ties between grassroots football and music. The men's team debuted the new shirts recently. Matt Jarrett, the club's joint commercial manager, highlighted the common struggles faced by both communities in securing support and visibility. A portion of the proceeds, 10%, will be donated to Music Venue Trust, which supports live music venues across the UK.
