Dabo Swinney discusses Nick Saban documentary invitation

Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney received an ornate invitation to the premiere of Nick Saban's ESPN documentary during Clemson's off week. He mentioned being honored by the invite and recalled his contributions to the documentary, which featured his perspective on crucial College Football Playoff games against Saban's Alabama teams. One highlighted game was Clemson's narrow loss in the 2015 national championship despite a strong offensive showing by quarterback Deshaun Watson. Swinney noted Saban's gutsy call during the game as one of the turning points. Swinney and Saban had a competitive coaching rivalry, splitting their playoff encounters, with Swinney winning their most recent matchup in the 2018 championship game.
