Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes Pro Late Model debut at Florence Motor Speedway

NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. is scheduled to compete in the CARS Tour Pro Late Model event this Friday at Florence Motor Speedway in South Carolina. This outing represents his debut in the Pro Late Model division after a career largely defined by racing Late Model Stock Cars. Earnhardt opted to add this race to his schedule to increase his track time before his previously planned start at Newport Speedway in October. The transition requires him to drive a straight-rail chassis, which differs from the perimeter-rail setup he has traditionally utilized. He will be reunited with Tony Eury Jr. and Tony Eury Sr., who previously worked with him during his time at Dale Earnhardt Inc. The event will also include other notable entries, with Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch participating in the Late Model Stock event held during the same weekend.
